Norton constituency legislator Temba Mliswa has come out guns blazing against Movement and Democratic Change leader, Morgan Tsvangirai saying he is disappointed in the former Premier’s failure to attend his victory celebrations over the former’s visit and interactions with Zanu PF Political Commissar, Savior Kasukuwere.
Addressing his victory celebrations attended by hundreds of people on Saturday, Mliswa undressed Tsvangirai saying he was very disappointed by his failure to attend the event on the grounds that he interacted with Kasukuwere.
“I am very disappointed in you President Morgan Tsvangirai, you cannot dictate to me who I should talk to or not,
“Go to hell Tsvangirai, go to hell,” repeatedly shouted Mliswa.
This follows social media onslaught and criticism against Mliswa after pictures of him comfortably chatting with Kasukuwere went viral last week.
Mliswa further charged that he is no subjected to Tsvangirai but to electorate who voted for him.
“Tsvangirai is not my boss and he cannot tell me what to do, who to talk to, but I listen to you, the people who voted for me,” he said, threatening to resign if Norton residents tells him to stop talking to Kasukuwere.
He boastfully added, “That is why I do not follow or subject to these silly and dead parties. The only party which was left in Zimbabwe is Zanu PF but it died on 22 October after I won against it. I do not report to any party, even Mugabe.”
Meanwhile, Mliswa has announced his plans to contest the 2018 Presidential elections, despite objections against such a move within his YARD movement.
